Hi Debra: Hope you received our Christmas card and that you are enjoying the holidays! Bruce just turned 7 on the 24th of December and enjoyed two porterhouse steaks and a container of strawberries to celebrate. It is hard to believe we will have Bruce 7 years this February!! Rosie is 5 1/2 now and she is doing well too. We cannot imagine our life without these doggies. Every day they make us laugh and give us so much unconditional love. We purchased our handsome baby in March of 2008. It has been a long time since I have touched base with you two. I wanted to let you know how Rocco has been doing and how GORGEOUS he is. Every day we remind ourselves how blessed we are to have the perfect pet from a perfect breed. Never is there a day that goes by where we do not receive compliments on how beautiful he is, he is definitly "eye candy" to those around. Hi Debra
Just wanted to update you on Sophie. She has just learned to swim!! First bullie I’ve owned who can swim. She loves the water and am constantly trying to keep her out of it, probably cos it is so warm! She wades right in with the other dogs and takes off, when she gets tired she just rests on our arms then takes off again! She’s a lover not a fighter, we just love her and she makes us laugh all day. She has boundless energy which at times I find exhausting, have never owned such a busy little girl, always getting into something!

December of 1999, we bought Annabelle (Rocky and Rosie are her parents) from you. Eight-and-a-half years later, she is still the center of our home. She has been the sweetest addition to our home and my husband and I could not love her more. She doesn’t meet a stranger and she loves when people compliment her beauty (Who doesn't?)!
Thank you for Annabelle and thank you for being so knowledgeable about the breed. You have answered many questions for me over the years and I really appreciate it!

Thank you so much for the pictures. Sweet Pea is truly the sweetest puppy ever. She is growing like a weed. She now weighs 10 lbs. She is 90% housebroken. She knows how to sit, down, and shake. She is so intelligent and willing to please. Everyone stops to say hello to her. I have given a few people your web site. If you ever need a refference dont hesitate to use me. My family is so happy with our little girl. I would love to get her a sister in the future. I will keep looking to see your new puppies. I will send you some new pictures shortly. Hey Debra!
Murphy is doing GREAT! We just love him. He is sooo smart. He already knows sit, down, no bites (for no biting, he goes & gets his chew toys) and off. He’s looking really good too. More and more like an old bulldog everyday. I just know he’s going to make a great family member. Now if we can just get through the potty training. Also, do you know how I can find out about getting him show ready. I was thinking of showing him a little.

Hi Debra,
My name is Chintoo Patel. I don't know if you remember me, but I got a bulldog puppy(Jack) from you this past September. I wanted to let you know how things are going.
We decided to change his name to Milo. Milo has been an amazing addition to our family. We have a large family and he is wonderful with every single person...even the small kids. He is in perfect health and is full of energy.
Everywhere we go, people stop us because they have to say hello to him. We take him to the dog park near our home almost every weekend and he loves running around with all of the other puppies there. He graduated puppy kindergarten a couple of months ago. He is very well behaved.
He is also fully potty trained. He runs to the back door and waits patiently for someone to take him out. He picked up on the potty training pretty quickly. I am assuming that he must have started potty training while he was with you so I must thank you for that.

Lola just had her 2008 vac's on Monday and a physical exam. Her vet said that he had never seen a healthier bulldog. He was highly complimentary about her bone structure, walk, and shape. I thought you should know that your work as a breeder is well respected. Happy new year.

Hello Debra!
Happy New Year! I wanted to send you some pictures of Lulu, who is almost 7 months old now, and let you know how wonderful she is doing. She is the most friendly, sweet, loving dog--she loves to cuddle and at 35 pounds, she is still a lap dog! We are so happy with Lulu and wanted to say thank you again for such a beautiful dog. She is famous around our neighborhood--everyone knows Lulu and every time we walk her at least a handful of people tell us how cute she is. We have recommended you to several people here in Hoboken, so hopefully there will be more Riverbend bulldogs in NJ soon!

We adopted Marci "Wiggles" from you in July of '06, and I wanted to share some pictures with you! She is such a wonderful dog--truly a member of our family! She is now 19 months old, and weighs 50 lbs. We love her so much!
Your new puppies are adorable. I would adopt all of them if I could! :)

I bought a female bully from RiverbendBulldogs back in December of 2003. Her name is Molly and you can see a picture of her on the past puppy page. Molly has the pink shirt and pink hat on,"Wifes Idea, lol" We are very happy with Molly. People always ask us if were going to breed her and we always say "maybe someday". Molly has brought so many goodtimes to our lives. To make a long story short, we will always have a RiverbendBulldog in our household. Thanks again Riverbendbulldogs.

Hey Debra, I just wanted to say that im VERY impressed with the two English Bulldogs I purchased from you this month. They are the coolest. You were very helpful in giving me the knowledge I need in order to fit the needs of a bulldog. My three year old cries for Wilbur when we leave the house and plays with him all day when we are home. They are the best of friends and Wilbur has been the best companion for him.

As you may remember, today is Lola and her litter mate's birthday. So I thought I'd give you a little update.Her last weigh-in was at 46lbs. Naturally, she's fully vaccinated and up to date on all medical needs. I moved into a pet friendly apartment complex this year, leaving the former house, where she was accompanied by a single cat. I have not met a SINGLE person in the apartment without a dog, so she has no shortage of friends. Her favorites seem to be a two year old Grate Dane, a two year old white Old English/English Bulldog mix, and a young Chocolate lab. Near as I can tell, she loves being here and is being paid constant attention by neighbors on our walks.She absolutely loves laying on the porch when the weather permits, and is a frequent napper. Although, when she is awake, she's AWAKE. The vet has said she's the most energetic Bulldog he's ever met out of all the ones he's cared for in bulldog country. Trust me, I didn't expect that! But it's a welcome surprise. She is my first dog and I'm sure will always be my fondest in remembrance down the road. I hope to be fortunate enough adopt another pup from you in the future if you're still breeding.Best wishes and continued luck,

Hi. Debra.. Has been just a little over a month since we brought Sugar Belle home. She has been such a joy to our "extended" family. She and Dooley are like a match made in heaven. We will continue to send you pictures. She has a big event coming up next week, Border Bash. A party the night before the Georgia vs, South Carolina. Its been over 2 years since I picked up my dog from you. I know you probably hear from tons of people so probably don’t remember who I am. We drove from Ohio on New Years Eve, I had wanted him for a Xmas present for my boyfriend(now husband)
Anyhow, just wanted to Thank you again for being such a responsible and good dog breeder. You raising them in your home and caring for them makes such a HUGE difference as opposed to being in a kennel. It would be so easy for you to do the same but you actually care enough to do what is right.
Scooter has the best personality ever. And I've never seen a dog the size of him enjoy to be held like a baby. I used to have your email saved because I wanted to send you an updated picture of him. If you'd like one, I can email it to you or I can copy it to myspace page for you. You have a pic of him on your previous puppies page. He's on the right hand side, red/white with a spot on the top of his head, sleeping. There is a dog above him with a red bandana.
Scooter has the biggest tongue ever. It sticks anywhere from an inch to two inches out when he sleeps. It really cracks us up.

We just bought our bulldog puppy from Debra and can't wait to take him home. Debra was great in terms of showing us the pups, letting us meet and interact with the parents, answering all of our strange questions, and generally making us feel very comfortable about the whole process. Want to thank you once again for our handsome new family member. Our first night back was very tiring due to the long drive up and back. We originally placed our new one in the carrier for the night next to our bed. A few yelps and growls ended that. He has found a way to move up the ladder of being spoiled. He only had to wait 5 minutes before he was picked up and allowed to lay in the bed between me and my wife he quickly nuzzled his little head up into my wifes neck and went on to sleep. I searched for six months to find a great bulldog, and I must say that riverbend bulldogs is the place to purchase one. Ernie is 3 months old now and has been wonderful. I was nervous about buying a dog over the net without meeting the breeder/dog in person. Debra does a wonderful job of explaining the dogs personality and traits. Scooter is the one who is laying on my boyfriends shoulder right beside his head. That was his favorite place to sleep as a puppy. You can tell Debra's raises her puppies w/ lots of LOVE everyday so when you get your puppy from her, they just want you to Love & Cuddle them. I bought a red/white puppy from Debra last Xmas for my boyfriend. I had been searching for months and was impressed w/ her website & her emails. We drove from Ohio all the way to Georgia just to get a puppy from her and it was worth the drive & the $$ for Scooter. After getting Scooter we got another bulldog puppy so Scooter wouldn't be lonely. We bought from another breeder closer to home and cheaper. However, our new puppy was beautiful but had been raised in a kennel. The difference between the 2 dogs is amazing. Scooter(riverbend bulldog) has always been a cuddler, always sleeping on our laps, always wanting to be right with you or on you. And he has a TON of personality. Tubby(not a riverbend/raised in kennel) was a little mean as a puppy. Had to break him from being mean and biting. He also never wanted to cuddle, didnt like to be held. So there is a HUGE difference in puppies who are raised with lots of 1 on 1 care and in the home rather than in a kennel. So I would definately recommend buying from Debra @ riverbend or someone who is raising the puppies in the home. We have finally gotten Tubby so he is nice & gentle and will sit on our laps. But Scooter is literally constantly on our laps, he is the most laid back and has the most personality. I recommend a RIVERBEND BULLDOG to anyone. Thanks so much for such a wonderful best friend.

We bought our bulldog puppy "Stella" from Riverbend bulldogs on January 2,2003. I just brought her in for the last of her puppy shots and the vet said that in the 35 years he has been in the dog business Stella was in the top 10% best of all bulldogs he has ever seen. She is wonderful and has not 1 health issue. The breeders on this website are great and it shows in their bulldogs
